Addiction to victimhood

Some time ago I read in a book of Ramtha that most addiction that has the human being is not to drugs, alcohol or sex, if not emotions, and more particularly to victimhood. As Joe Dispenza says in the documentary film entitled "And do you know? 'If you can not control an emotion is that you are addicted to it. "

If you think carefully, how many times a day or week you feel like a victim? Thank you? Do you like being a victim or really can not control the emotion but you can not do without it? So what gives us this emotion so limiting that makes us fall and again in it? From my point of view a false power. We are victims when we assume that we are the creators and makers of our own reality, giving our power abroad, whether individuals or events, and are not responsible for our lives. Sound familiar? We set up a drama called 'poor little me' for others to take pity on us and have our fleeting moment of glory to feel the center of attention, so that once lived this drama, we go to the other end and from a state of false pride, power and ruthlessly judge our punishment, for he is to blame for all our misfortunes. And so we spend our lives ... drama addicts and the rush. It really works just like any drug: increasingly need more of it to feel the same. Take

aware that we are addicted to emotions, recognize and identify patterns of thought and beliefs that lead to these addictive and uncontrollable emotional states is the first step to begin managing a more balanced emotions and not get carried away for them. Like any addiction, unhooked involves passing a monkey, because your body is addicted to that drug and try to do everything possible to get it. How many times have we proposed to stop an addiction (snuff, coffee, alcohol, chocolate, internet, etc ...) and taking less than a day to fulfill our new goal, a little voice has emerged in our telling us to go silly head? Why not leave it for later when we were more quiet? That voice was talking to your body and convincing you to give him a dose of drug. Unfortunately almost always wins and we fall back, feeling guilty, victims of ourselves and then fiercely back and start judging.

Any change of habit requires a strong discipline for at least the first 21 days of the decision to change. To raise awareness of your life, take responsibility for making that change is not to get carried away with your body and be truly faithful to your inner self that really knows what is good for you. If you think about are not so many days and the reward is very high if you succeed.

I love to watch my clients during the process of coaching, are gradually disengaging from emotional addictions, as they felt freer and happier to be better managing their emotions. It is a wonderful experience. David Gomez
